Hello, I am Ken

My concept is that "life is meaningless".
We are just like the chicken. No matter what we did in present, that does nothing to out afterlife.

  1. I think the images makes more sense (even though I think Olga said that you aren't allowed to do it) I don't really understand the text blocks that replace the images.

I also think that maybe you don't even need them, that one nutrition facts will make the point that your life is made up of these things. Kind of makes us seem no better than any other food item

  2. I can feel your concept from dry feeling of nutrition facts.

But I think your composition is little confusing what to look first and next. I think because the weight of two column is too similar which is almost symmetrical. Maybe you can change a layout in a way that shows hierarchy of information more clearly.

  3. maybe you can buy a can of chicken soup or even a whole chicken from the grocery store with the nutrition label on it and change the labels around. i know it is similar to the one poster with the blood bag (sorry i forgot your name) but really zoom into the nutrition label, you dont even have to show the whole image

  4. I feel that your concept will work better with just the nutrition facts, I think it is much stronger with that. And it is a little confusing with the order because I feel that they are different artworks. And I don't think you can use extra texts. Maybe instead of writing 'nutrition facts', maybe just add the title of the book and author? and below would be just the info?

  5. When I read your concept, I think your image was really interesting about your first poster. Maybe you can keep it, but using a better way to make them work together.

  6. I actually like the first one. I think too much type at left o the first confused me, it's feels like it stolen the thunder of real content.

  8. Your first version of poster shows your concept more and second one looks like you just change the image to many words. I like your concept and the idea with nutrition fact and type. It would be great if you make it more simple with an essential point of your ideas.

  9. I agree that on the second poster, elements on the left side are confusing. If you want to use the Nutrition fact chart, I'd suggest to appropriate it so that it looks real but when you look closer to read it, you realize it's saying your concept about life- similar to using the bloodfuse bag that was discussed in class before.

  11. I think Olga said that you can't have any type on the poster that isn't from the text given. So I would work to resolve the type on the left.

  12. I actually like your first poster better. I think it reveals your concept more clearly.

  13. Thank you guys for all your comments
I think I will just erase everything on left and figure out a way to solve the problems on right...

  15. Very clear and correct suggestions. To summarize:
delete all foreign text including Nutrition facts.... Let the viewer celebrate the fact that they recognized where the image came from and don't explain too much.
    First composition is better.
I like the image and there are a few different ways how to include in in the poster—first—cjange the proportion—facts bigger—image much smaller

or that "chicken soup" shot . I think if you design your label with your image, print it out and wrape arounfd the can and photograph—will be just right.

Paper color can be a little off white. and also, you can look at the typography of the flyers,/documents during the Bauhaus period.

    Good luck!

  16. the idea of making this a nutrition chart is interesting, but work on the words that are not allowed to use, replace them with the text in the story
