I made 2 articles, even though we r only doing one. I need some help, I need opinions before thursday please :) thank you :) :) The first one is about synesthesia and music with a color organ, and the second one is about a woman with synesthesia who uses it to be a photographer.

For the first article, I like how you created the visual language by using the triangle shapes. All five spreads feel like they belong to one article.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I think the shapes are repeated too much. Perhaps, I wish to eliminate maybe the one on 6th page and last spread?…
also some pages need more negative space…"breathing space" if you would call. Most of your pages seem overwhelming.
The second article, I love your design of sound wave. Again, you do not need to repeat many times..
The third page with symmetrical composition…I don't think it's successful. Having two different alignment systems is strange, and right alignment gives a hard time for the viewer to read.
You can still create the symmetry by dividing the column into boxes of text and moving them around. Paragraphs themselves create graphic shapes.
