magazine
This is my magazine. I'm not sure how can I fix it.
For me, I feel like everything is wrong....
I don't like the article.
Also the marylin Monroe doesn't have big connection with my article.
The second article will be about visual music, so if it's possible I want to make this article much more simple information about synesthesia, and change the whole image on this.

New Logo versions (Emily)
I took your advice and changed the logo you liked the best. I tried the "ey" in black, outline black, and kept it gray to show the change. what do you think?

Logos, Contents, and Subtitles (Maxine)
Hey guys, so Olga and I decided that "fluorescence" wasn't working, so I ran with one of the titles I originally came up with. I don't think EyeScream will work for the type of synethesia I'm focusing on for the magazine (Music and Touch), the title I'm running with is "Tangibeat" (combo of "tangible" and "beat") The title can change, but it's what I've got for now, as well as the new round of logos.
Subtitles:
"feel the music"
"the tangible music magazine"
"sense the sounds"
(Contents?) Featured Articles:
1) Re-Wired
After losing the hearing in one ear due to a tumor, Amelia Marzec invented a portable helmet that allows the wearer to experience sound via "bone conduction." The helmet contains microphones, amplifiers, circuits, and other components that translate the sounds of one's environment into a physical, sensory experience.
2) Musical Emotion: Chills Edition
Researchers conduct a study on the involuntary responses our bodies produce when we listen to music. A look into the biology and psychology of human emotion as it relates to pleasurable music and why such reactions occur.
3)Music as Therapy
Insight on how music is being used a therapeutic and recreational tool for the blind and deaf. example: The blind can learn music through use of braille musical notation while deaf children can experience music through use of subwoofers and other amplifiers that allow them to feel the beats of a song.
*I know it's only three articles, but I would really like to include this next one somehow, maybe it can be part of the contents, but not a featured article?
4) Synthesized
A look into the many new apps for smartphones and tablets that provide a synesthetic experience in the palm of your hand. These apps create a unique, colorful, musical, and sensory experience as the user taps and sweeps across the screen, allowing much room for improvisation.

EyeScream Table of Contents (Emily)
Here is my table of contents :)
Feedback and thoughts always appreciated :)

EyeScream
“joined perception”
“see the sound”
"sensory fusion"
"the art of senses"
Brief:
Physical Art is art that exists in physical reality, space
and time. It is a physical object. For example, paintings, sculptures, and
performance pieces are in the physical world. Physical art is always compared
to conceptual art and it is argued that they are not the same. Conceptual art
resides in the mental world whereas physical art resides in the physical
world. Physical art in relationship to
synesthesia is commonly abstract art. I have chosen the topic of physical art
and synesthesia because I found it interesting that there is a thin line
between an artist who has synesthesia and an artist who doesn’t. I found that
most artists who do abstract art use the idea of synesthesia as inspiration rather
than actually having it.

The refined logos (Chien-Wei = Angel)
I just want to check if I can upload the images, and want some advice from you guys.
I'm still trying some other typefaces and keep telling myself that I need to make them not too complicated for the magazine title.
I don't know why there is a gap but whatever. -A-"
The typefaces I use are on the right, and the logos on the very right side are...not that good I think...
But I just want to hear some suggestion or advice! :D

Also, if somebody have good idea for my stuff, let me know.
<Contents>
SYNESTHESIA Sense Beyond the Sense
• Definition of synesthesia
VISUAL MUSIC Sounds Touch to the Eyes
• Definition of visual music
• Sounds of texture
• Sounds of shapes
• Rhythm of Sounds
MUSICAL SCORE
Today, one idea just came to my mind!! I thought I make a dress which have shapes & texture on it as visual musical score, and as the model wears this dress & move, the shape & texture move just like sound & rhythm change in a music. I thought this makes my magazine special.
What do you guys think about this??

Guys, could you please give me some suggestions? (I'm Chien-Wei = Angel)
I was changing my focus for the magazine sometimes before and I am focusing on the instruments and software of music visualization.
At first I think it might not be relate with synesthesia that much, but after thinking that those tools are like real music instruments and the process of making that translation of music to visual is somehow relates to synesthesia.
What you guys think? Should I go with it or I need to change to another direction, or is there any better way to present what I focus on with the synesthesia?
