hey everyone, so here are some revisions for the poor fellas cover. In my previous post it was suggested I try to make the covers a little less scary so I tried the hand in color and added a bit of a warming filter to the sky. I also tried a slightly different type treatment. As for the first one, I wanted to try and take the sky cover and make it more lively. As I previously stated in my first post, the concept behind the sky is the feeling of unsettling and uncertainty in the play, that your fate is in someone else's hands. In this case will the sky clear up or will it storm.

poor fellas!
Hey everyone! I just wanted to post my covers on here for you to see and possibly give some feedback before class on thursday.
My concept is the consistant “unsettling” feeling in the play. This feeling could be caused
by the fact that things are never really resolved, or the wondering that our life isn’t really
controlled by us, it is up to a higher power to decide our fate.
For the first three covers I took them more in the direction of your life possibly being in someone else's hands. This is more straight forward for the first two covers. As for the sky, I wanted it to seem like a "calm before the storm" feeling and also the fact the we are completely powerless to mother nature.
For the last cover, I thought it was interesting how Marc said he didn't give too much thought into the title of the play. This made me feel like the play itself wasn't really resolved, similar to the stories inside. For this cover I wrote synonyms for poor fellas, and crossed them out to try and show an uncertainty for the title. I drew the type in pencil and scanned it in. Ideally, I would like the handwriting to be Marc's if that would be possible to do.
Thanks!
